The gloves comment was make by Stana at the Children's Film Festival panel in Zlin,Czech Rep. And the folder was a comment that Nathan made about how actors hide their lines. That was at Paley Festival 2010.
There you go Anon, two awesome opossum people (check the reply to your question) agree that it was in the Zlin fest interviews where that was touched upon.
Which is funny to me because I’ve only ever watched them once lol (not a fan of hey blue eyes) -

Hi Anon.
I can’t remember if it was in the season 1 DVD commentary or in the first Paley fest that they covered the subject of Stana using her hands when she talked, that it was a bit distracting, so they gave her gloves to hold.Maybe my followers.can help pinpoint the exact place where this was said.

I took about a week off, relaxed and enjoyed me time off. And now I’m back to kicking ass. So if they want me to be wonder woman, fine I’ll do it. Now if i could just land that promotion.

Oh shit.
So Iron Gates got into a car accident (she’s ok) and called out for closing
tonight. Puppy Manager has been stuck in the store all day. I’ve been here
since 2, and now I’m being told that i am in charge. I am closing the
store, i am the (not) manager on duty. WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! -
AWWWW..
So still no word if I get the promotion. Iron Gates is pushing for it like
whoa. Captain Ryan is wishing on every star (her words not mine) that I get
transferred to her store. The rest of the store is acting like I’m dying.
Puppy Manager looks like someone kicked him and when he talks to me, he
sounds like he’s gonna cry. What is going on!?! I am not going to count my
sheep before they hatch. Im going to continue to work like i always do
until something happens. But i really hope i get the job!!! -
