Castle 5x07 Spoiler!
Dianna: Castle scoop! Not involving Castle and Beckett…I want happy scoop!
So you know how Castle is doing a Firefly-esque tribute in an upcoming episode? Sounds like they are currently casting for…well, Nathan Fillion! Gabriel Winters is described as an actor who quickly rose to fame playing Captain Max Richards on a hit sci-fi series. Of course, unlike Fillion, this leading man spiraled out of control after his show went off the air with booze and one-night stands. Castle’s Firefly-themed episode, titled “The Final Frontier,” is the seventh episode of the new season.(X)

You know, with the amount of lip and inner cheek biting I keep reading in fics, I’m surprised Beckett’s mouth isn’t full of open sores by now.

Lesson learned from both Kate Beckett and Dana Scully-
I clearly need to go have some sort of emotional (not necessarily sexual) relationship with an older father figure… as weird and disturbing as that may sound… so that when he comes back into my life years later I will then realize that the person I’m currently with (in a non-romantic/sexual sort of way) is exactly who I need to be with. Period.

So, time for my analysis of the pics :) heee
Ok first season, we have a dead body, a HUGE book, stripes on Castle and a Jacket on Beckett.
Second Season. No dead body, but a murder weapon. Which could mean we’ve moved beyond the guts and glory to delve further into the storylines. Strips still on Castle, Jacket still on Becks. And the book is kinda thrown in there.
Third season. NO JACKET on Beckett, could mean she’s finally let her hair down and has gone casual round Castle. Still with the stripes on Castle (could be ties to other women and such, like Gina) No body, no weapon… but a crime scene. Does that mean we have to now pay attention to the details of the story? Also… NO BOOK, because as we learn, its not about the books any more!!!
Fourth Season. ITS JUST THEM!!! No crime scene, no body, no blood, no book, no NOTHING JUST THEM!! Castle no longer is wearing stripes (does that make him free) and Beckett… well it looks like she’s not wearing a thing!! (but that’s because we can’t see it) so does that mean she’s free as well?
OH and note the lack of blood on the pen in the logo for season four!!!!
AND NOW FOR THE NEW PICTURE
Clearly from the same photoshoot as the Season 4 promo picture, cept instead of teasing us with the possibility of sex, this is just SCREAMING “WE’RE HAVING SEX!”
Though if I had planned this picture, I would have made it seems as if she was topless and her hand would have been under his shirt, not in his jacket.
Oh this is so exciting!
And here we go AGAIN!!!
ALRIGHT SEASON FIVE!!!
Well checking the progression of posters, we’re right on target following the Season 4 posters. COMPLETE LACK OF CRIME SCENE!!! Further emphasizes that we’ve moved away from a crime driven drama to a character driven one.
THERE’S A SMILE ON HER FACE!! Though on could argue that seasons 1 and 4 sorta have a smile, I think we call all agree that 5’s is a real REAL smile of someone content and not just teasing.
Castle still has that happy smirk on his face, but this time has brought up the grin all the way up to his eye (Oh Nathan…I love your eyes) and to me that screams REAL HAPPINESS, showing up all that this *thing* we’ve got going on with the two is REAL!!!
Love the handcuffs, bringing it back from Season 3, cept this time we have both of them cuffed together on the left (and not just Beckett like in 3’s poster). What could this mean? Probably nothing (nothing kinky.. Steel handcuffs hurt), but the symbolize of a commitment is screaming pretty loudly at me.
Also the inclusion of her father’s watch shows to me that we have NOT lost the Beckett we all know and love, that despite the changes in her relationship with Castle (and her appearance) she is still going to be a BAMF!
I am crazy excited for this season!!! More so than I was for 4!!
